When Amy and Michael Febres started their own business, they did so with the intention of having low-priced video games, not unlike the ones that their son plays on a regular basis. As the site continued to developed the Febres added several other categories including waterless carwash, DVDs, and books. In short, it’s become a bit of a media mini-mart.
“The things we have featured on our site are items that we are interested in,” said Amy Febres. “We wanted to design a store that we would shop in ourselves.”
In addition to having several games, movies and books, www.America-Co.net also has a selection of online resources for other gaming sites, Christian websites and shoe sites, among others. But let it be known that the site will continue to grow.
“We’re planning on adding more links and we’ll definitely have some new items very soon,” said Michael.
“Recently, we’ve added new links to a site that has shoes for small women that would typically be special orders,” added Amy.
At the moment, one of the websites more popular items is the waterless carwash that they have. “It’s a great item,” explained Michael. “It’s the same quality of cleaning products that they use at professional carwashes, but you don’t have to worry about breaking out the hose.”
These attributes are also outlined in the Febres’ blog, www.AmericaCoInfo.com. The blog covers some of the technology and products that are highlighted on America-Co.net, and includes well thought out and objective product reviews.
With all these advances that the Febres are making, it’s just a matter of time until their website will become synonymous with simple one-stop shopping when it comes to the matters of media and more.
“What we have is a mini-market, basically,” said Amy. “And we’re learning as we go along, so as we find out what people are interested in, the more we can add to our store.”
