“The Haunting of Molly Hartley” - DVD Movie of the Week
The DVD movie The Haunting of Molly Hartley stars Haley Bennett as Molly Hartley, Jake Weber as Robert Hartley, Chace Crawford as Joseph Young, Shannon Marie Woodward as Leah, and Shanna Collins as Alexis.
Molly Hartley (Haley Bennett) is a 17 year old girl who looks to put her troubled past behind her with a fresh start at a new school where she sparks with one of the most popular students. Molly has physically recovered from a stab wound inflicted by her mother, but the psychological scars that remain run deep. So to help her begin a new life after her trauma, her father has moved her into a new school.
But can her secrets stay buried especially as she learns more about the horrific truth that awaits her once she turns 18. With her eighteenth birthday approaching, Molly is haunted by nightmares of her mother’s attack upon her while dealing with the stress of being the new girl in school. Symptoms of psychosis that seem to be affecting her seem to foreshadow an onset of the mental illness that took control of her mother’s life, but of several different explanations for her distress, the most unforeseen and terrifying is revealed as the truth. Ultimately, Molly discovers that her mother and others who share her mother’s concerns want her killed in order to save her from a preordained life as a servant of the Devil.
Movie was Rated PG-13. There did not seem to be any hauntings to me. Not scary at all. I give it two stars.
Expected (and Unexpected) Wii Game Hits

Ever since the debut of the Nintendo Wii, people interested in the world of gaming have been arguing about which games are best for the console. Whether you’re a lover of platform games, strategy games, or adventure games, there is one game that has surpassed all others in the hearts and minds of video game enthusiasts. And not surprisingly, that’s the latest version of Zelda, which debuted for the Wii.
Known as the Twilight Princess, the latest installment in the Zelda saga proved very popular with users for no other reason than the significantly different play offered by the Wii remotes. Other Nintendo Wii games that proved a big hit were staples such as Mario Kart and Super Mario Galaxy. Unexpected hits included Wii Fit, which got people up and off the couch even while they played video games. This makes the game popular with kids and parents alike.
Playing Video Game “Soul Calibur 4″
The video game Soulcalibur IV is the latest installment in Namco’s Soul series of fighting games, and was released on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
Character Creation from Soul Calibur III returns in Soul Calibur IV. Instead of including original weapon styles for use with certain classes of fighters, Soul Calibur IV now only allows players to simply choose which character from the series they would like to have their created character mimic (excluding Algol, bonus characters, and the Star Wars guest characters).
Armor, weapons, and accessories may increase health, attack or defense; they may also grant skill points that allow the character to equip special traits that affect the character’s playstyle. These traits range from automatically triggered guard impacts, the ability to cause damage against a blocking opponent, or even a stat increase based on parameters such as an opponent’s alignment or gender.
Soul Calibur IV features an all-new Critical Finish system. Next to a player’s Health Meter is a colored gem that represents the “Soul Gauge”. The gem changes color when the player guards and is attacked. The color gradually changes from blue to green and eventually to red and then flashing red. The player’s own Soul Gauge will regenerate if he or she makes an attack and hits the opponent (guarding or otherwise). If the character manages to empty out the opponent’s Soul Gauge, he or she will get a short chance to perform a powerful Critical Finish move, which will defeat the opponent instantly, by pressing all four face buttons at the same time after the player destroys a piece of armor or breaks the opponents guard. Each character has his or her own personal Critical Finish move.
Reapplying Waterless Carwash For Durability
To keep the incredible sense of depth and brilliance in the paint and to keep the surface as smooth as porcelain, a monthly application of waterless carwash is recommended.
Of course, that depends on the color and condition of the paint and weather condition.
Normally, reapply the product every one-three months.
Wii Proves to be the King of Consoles

Every game enthusiast seems to have one particular console or platform that they prefer above all others for playing video games. But in the recent past, there has emerged a very clear favorite when strictly viewed in terms of sales. To that end, the Wii console has outperformed all its main competitors, which includes the Sony PlayStation and the Xbox. And gamers are attributing this to three major reasons.
One, the price is far less than other consoles. Even finding deals online and purchasing discount options, the Wii hovers around half the price of other consoles. Two, the Wii offers an entirely new experience. Really working to set itself apart from standard controller games, the Wii boasts a kind of virtual reality-like experience. Other consoles are still utilizing controllers in the way they always have and instead focused solely on improved graphics and game play. And the third reason the Wii is outperforming its competitors is because it offers more popular games. While there might be fewer options available, the games that are released have proven a bit hit with users.
