The DVD movie Transporter 3 stars Jason Statham as Frank Martin, Francois Berleand as Tarconi, Robert Knepper as Johnson, Jeroen Krabbe as Minister Leonid Vasilev, and Natalya Rudakova as Valentina.

Frank Martin puts the driving gloves on to deliver Valentina, the kidnapped daughter of a Ukranian government official (Vasilev), from Marseilles to Odessa on the Black Sea.  They both have metal devices around their wrist which is a bomb, and if they get more than 75 feet away from the car, they will explode.  Frank is to be released after completing the mission.  

The movie was great.  It was full of action.  Lots of fighting.  I would give it 5 stars.

The video game Suikoden Tierkreis is a traditional console role-playing game where the player must navigate through three-dimensional environments and complete story-based objectives to advance the narrative. 

You play as a young boy from the border village of Citro.  You must gather the combined forces of 108 heroes and defeat a powerful villian known as The One King, leader of The Order of the One True Way, who seeks to control the world by spreading his doctrine that all fate is predetermined and all people have no control of their lives.

As a member of a peacekeeping group, it’s your job to protect the village from bandits and monsters.  Your adventure begins as you and your fellow peacekeepers head out on a monster expedition.  While exploring the mountains near your village, you come upon a strange light, which marks the start of the story.

The DVD movie My Best Friend’s Girl stars Dane Cook as Sherman ‘Tank’ Turner, Kate Hudson as Alexis, Jason Biggs as Justin and Alec Baldwin as Professor William Turner.

This is a romantic comedy about a man (Cook) who makes his living convincing women to run back into the arms of the men they have recently dumped by taking them on the worst possible dates imaginable. 

The nightmare lucrative scheme hits an unexpected hitch, however, when Tank is hired by his best friend (Biggs) to take out the girl (Alexis) he longs to win back.

Cook played a wonderful role and he was very believable.  The movie was definitely a romantic comedy and I enjoyed it.  I would give it 5 stars.

Every kid needs a little break every now and then and sometimes that can mean playing video games. If your child interested in playing video games, why not offer them the best in video game consoles? The Xbox is Microsoft’s premier game console.

Angels Fall was written by Nora Roberts.  Roberts whose real name is Eleanor Marie Robertson was born on October 10, 1950 in Silver Spring, Maryland.  She is a bestselling American author of more than 150 romance novels.  She has written as J.D. Robb for the In Death series.  She also has written under the pseudonym Jill March and by error some of her works were published in the UK as Sarah Hardesty.  

Nora Roberts was the first author to be inducted into the Romance Writers of America Hall of Fame.   As of 2006, her novels had spent a combined 660 weeks on the New York Times Bestseller List, including 100 weeks in the number-one spot.  Over 280 million copies of her books are in print, including 12 million copies sold in 2005 alone.  Her novels have been published in 35 countries.

In the novel Angels Fall, Reece Gilmore is the sole survivor of a gunman’s rampage in her restaurant.  She leaves town but her car gives out in a small Wyoming town.  While her car is being repaired, Reece takes a job at the local diner.  Soon she meets a mystery writer named Brody and considers putting the past behind her and staying in Angels Falls until she witnesses a murder which brings the past roaring back.  The police find no evidence of the killing which leads to everyone, including Reece, to question her sanity.

The DVD movie The Dark Knight stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Heath Ledger as the Joker, Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent/Two-Face, Gary Oldman as James Gordon, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Maggie Gyllenhaal as Rachel Dawes, Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox, and Eric Roberts as Sal Maroni. 

As the movie starts, in Gotham City, the Joker robs a mob bank with his accomplices, whom he tricks into killing one another, ultimately killing the last one himself.  That night, Batman and Lieutenant Gordon contemplate including new district attorney Harvey Dent in their plan to eradicate the mob.  However, Batman wonders if Dent can be trusted.  Bruce runs into Rachel Dawes and Dent, who are dating, and after talking to Dent, he realizes Dent’s sincerity and decides to host a fundraiser for him.

Mob boss Sal Maroni meet with other underworld gangsters to discuss both Batman and Dent, who have been cracking down on the mobster’s operations.  Lau, a Chinese mafia accountant, informs them that he has hidden their money and fled to Hong Kong in an attempt to pre-empt Gordon’s plan to seize the mobsters’ funds.  In Hong Kong, Batman captures Lau and delivers him to the Gotham City police, where Lau agrees to testify against the mob.  In retaliation, the mobsters hire the Joker to kill Batman and Lau.  The Joker issues an ultimatum to Gotham, stating that if Batman does not reveal his identity to the public, people will die each day.  The Joker makes good on his threats!

The movie was like your other typical batman movies.  Lots of action but it seemed to drag.  Too long for me - 152 minutes.  I give it 4 stars.   

The Graveyard Book is a young adult fantasy novel by Neil Gaiman.  Gaiman was born on November 10, 1960.  He is an English author of science fiction and fantasy short stories and novels, graphic novels, comics, and films.  

His notable works include The Sandman comic series, Stardust, American Gods, and Coraline.  Gaiman’s writing has won numerous awards, including the Hugo, Nebula, and Bram Stoker awards, as well as the 2009 Newbery Medal.  

The Graveyard Book is a story about a boy named Nobody Owens, known to his friends as Bod, whose family is killed by a mysterious man named Jack, and who is subsequently adopted and raised by the occupants of an old graveyard.

He is being raised and educated by ghosts, with a solitary guardian who belongs to neither the world of the living nor of the dead.  But if Bod leaves the graveyard, then he will come under attack from the man Jack—who has already killed Bod’s family.

The video game Killzone 2 follows the events of Killzone and Killzone: Liberation, and entirely takes place on the planet Helghan, the home-world of the Helghast, who invaded an Interplanetary Strategic Alliance (ISA) colony.

Two years after the Helghast assault on Vekta, the ISA is bringing the fight to the enemy’s home world of Helghan.  Taking the role of Sev, the battle-hardened veteran of the special forces unit known as the Legion, players will embark upon a mission to the planet Helghan to capture the Helghast leader, Emperor Visari, and bring the enemy’s war machine to a halt.  For Sev and his squad, the invasion of Helghan is just the beginning.
